What Is Church Fam?
Church Fam is a role in our Discord that creates a more intimate and connected experience for our community. This helps things go from feeling like just another Discord to an actual church family where people can truly know and connect with one another.
Who Is Church Fam For?
Church Fam is a role intended for 2 groups of people:
1. Gamers who don’t have a church family and are looking for a church to explore and grow in their faith.
2. Christians who may already go to another church, but who believe in the vision of XP Church and feel called by God to connect with and contribute to our mission
What Access Will I Gain As A Part Of Church Fam?
1. A more intimate and connected experience with other gamers in our Church Fam.
2. Access to Church Fam-wide meetings with our pastors & leaders.
3. Regular check-ins and follow-up from our leadership.
4. Weekly Church Fam watch parties during our Saturday 1st service with cameras on.
5. The opportunity to serve on some of our serve teams to begin to make a difference.
6. Private Church Fam category and channels for:
a. Faith conversations
b. Life conversations
c. Special announcements concerning Church Fam, etc.
How Do I Become Church Fam?
To become Church Fam, we simply ask that you regularly attend our weekly church services on an average of 3 times a month. NOTE: Watching the VODs on other days of the week is considered attending service.
Our weekly service is when we gather as a church family to worship God, hear from our pastors, and talk about the vision, culture, and direction of the church. This is a major part of what helps our community feel unified and moving in the same direction. Without attending our services, it will be really difficult to truly feel that you are a part of the mission and direction of our church family.
